The Midwifery Practice at Athens Regional has cared for women in the Athens area for more than 35 years.

In 2011, the practice delivered more than 650 babies within the ARMC birthing center.

We are well-known in the community for our compassionate, mother-centered care.

The ARMC Midwifery practice has been recognized both nationally and internationally for our unique practice model and for our excellent health outcomes for mothers and babies.

The practice has a very low primary Cesarean-section rate.

We provide warm, personalized healthcare for women throughout their lifespans.

We are a full-scope practice, offering not only pregnancy and birth care, but also contraceptive planning and gynecological services.
