At Athens Regional, we strive to ensure a safe and secure environment for not only our staff and physicians, but most importantly, for our patients and visitors. Security Services provides around-the-clock protection for your convenience.
By maintaining a vigilant presence on the Athens Regional campus, we can assure you that safety will be the least of your worries when visiting our facility.
Athens Regional Security offers several services to our patients and visitors, which include:
- Escort services to and from parking areas and buildings on the Athens Regional campus. Call (706) 475-3911 to request this service or dial ext. 3911 if you are calling from within the hospital.
- Incident reports are completed and investigations done in the event a security related problem arises.
- Patient valuables are secured by the request of patients and stored in a secured area. If for any reason, you are unable to leave items of extreme value at home or with family members, please feel free to contact Security Services and we will be more than willing to put small items (i.e. wallets, jewelry, etc.) into a safe until you have been discharged from the hospital.
- Lost and found services if you should happen to lose any valuables during your stay at Athens Regional. Contact Guest Services at at (706) 475-3432 (ext. 3432 if calling from within the hospital) or Security Services at ext. 3911 and a report will be completed.
- Vehicle assistance offered for minor vehicle problems such as dead batteries. Call Security Services at ext. 3911 for assistance.
- Parking services for patients and visitors can be found in many different locations on campus. Contact Guest Services at (706) 475-3432 (ext. 3432 if calling from within the hospital) if you have any questions or concerns.
